I’ve been enjoying 3 glorious days on my own in our little apartment. Rick has been at the BC Outdoors show this weekend and staying at his friend's place during that time. I had a wonderful breakfast with an old friend (who is local as well, YAY!) and we realized we need to do more things together without the “boys”.

I had planned on doing some work on Friday, but instead I spend a blissful 4 hours on the couch reading. Another strong reminder I need to do more of that.

I"m finishing up, What My Bones Know. I have to say, this book really surprised me. The first third of the book was hard to read because of the trauma the author experienced, but after I learned about C-PTSD which is Complex PTSD, not something I knew about. Her journey is insightful and the last third of the book I’ve had my own a-has and acknowledgements on ways to be more compassionate.

I’ve also had time to simply sit and think. This time is precious and it helps me process things. I’ve had realizations on where things are going in my business, shifts I’m making and the focus on the content I want to create (Thanks to Gemini for the brainstorming help).

Sometimes, we think and feel we need to make a shift or big change, when often what really need is a new perspective and new approach. More on this will come, maybe not in my regular emails but online whether that’s substack or my blog, I haven’t figured that out yet. So stay tuned.

Before I jump into the shares, I’m excited to announce that I’m easing my way back to write on the blog. Here’s a couple of articles I’ve written:
